I enjoy effectively communicating with others and causing a positive impact in their life. I enjoy helping people achieve to live the best life possible in a safe and comfortable environment. I enjoy the companionship and building a relationship with others where they know they will be taken care of as if they were my family. My most valuable personal achievement would be obtaining an award for a 5 year hospice volunteer award for dedicating my time to families who need assistance.

I have 30+ years in home health care with the last 12yrs specializing in spinal cord injury, ventilator, tracheotomy, wound care and hospice. I also have hospital experience, as well as, working with the Alzheimer, dementia, and mentally disabled. Along the way, I also had the pleasure of picking up the ability to learn and communicate with American Sign Language. I am passionate about my career because I love meeting the needs of each client I come in contact with. They teach me about who I am and Why I love my career and able to do what I love to do. I am available Monday through Friday. I prefer 24 hr shifts. Willing to travel up to 2 hours aways for longer shifts.

I have been a caregiver since I was 17 and I just absolutely love what I do! I am currently on my 2nd semester of college, working towards my RN. I love being the person to help your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa when they need it just as much as I love being the person who is just there to keep them company!

I am a 56yr old female and have been caring for/ assisting seniors and disabled/challenged adults for 12 yrs. I've worked for clients with dementia, alzheimers, MS, Parkinsons, surgeries, CHF, COPD, stroke, CKD, numerous cancers, SP Cath, diabetes, as well as other disabilities and illnesses. Duties have included companionship/mind and sensory stimulation (games, puzzles, discussions, outings..), transportation, meals, cooking, medication management/reminders, assist with hygiene/bathing/dressing, schedule mngmt(Dr.appts, hair), laundry, groceries, errands, LIGHT housecleaning, stretching/ROM exercises, household mngmt. I am certified with the state as a Certified Nurse Assistant, also trained in BLS, AED, and CPR, which allows me to work in Home Care, Hospitals, Rehab. Facilities, and Senior Care/Long-Term Care Facilities... but I prefer Home Care. I Love what I do and am compassionate and patient with my clients/patients. I hold an impeccable driving record and a chauffeur license, and have a trustworthy, well-maintained, well-insured vehicle chosen specifically for working with my clients(easy seating with easy access for walkers/wheelchairs). Working part-time/occasionally for an agency, I am required to keep a CLEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND as well as remain current on my CPR/BLS and CNA training/certifications and TB testings. I have a nurturing spirit. I became a care giver at a young age. I took care of my god mother at 12 years of age. My career choice stemmed from my relationship with the elderly. I love what I do. My work speaks from its self. I love to help people get back to their best. . I love how I can get to the meanest people and they truly love me. I have client I make special sandwich's to make him happy. So when he doesn't eat the staff let's me know and I can go cook and he will eat. This makes me proud. He doesn't like many but he likes me. I'm proud of that.

Hi I have been working in healthcare since I was 16. I received my CNA at 16 and have held numerous positions in the field since. I also received my phlebotomy certificate as I progress in medical profession. However I have found that I enjoy working one on one with my patients more preferring home care or AFC homes, than nursing facilities.. The elderly deserve the very best. People that do this work can be hard to find someone who will truly love and care for your family like their own but rest assured that is exactly what you will have if you hire me. I enjoy everything about working with elderly I love the feeling of doing something good.

I am kind, nice, caring, and get along really well with all my residents I take care of. I love to get to know the people I take care of. I became a caregiver in 1994, where I began training as a CNA. I love my job as a caregiver. The personal reward of a thankful and satisfied client is more than any money could buy.
