I became a care giver because i enjoy helping others.I love being a part of someone's life that i can make a difference in weather it be to help maintain the quality of life they have and keep their dignity,or providing end of life care. I am focused on the person as well as their family. I am 1 of 5 children,I grew up in a loving christian environment where morals and values were strongly instilled. I lost my father at a young age and lost 2 brothers to complications of diabetes in 2014 and lost my mother April 2017 due to renal disease and cardiovascular disease and lost my grandmother July of 2017. I am married to my best friend of 22 yrs we have 4adult children and 2 precious granddaughters.I am very trustworthy and take pride in my work and again i take my work very serious. I have been a certified nurse aide since 1996 to the present.

I originally started being a caregiver at 16 years old, I developed a passion for caregiving and have a total of 8 years experience specializing with dementia/ Alzheimer's . At 18 years old I lost my mother to type one diabetes as well as my grandmother due to heart failure. I promise to make them proud and continue gods work to help many other families. I have experience with Parkinson's, Assist with hospice care, paraplegics or heavy lifting assistance, traches, straight cath, indwelling, wound care, feeding tubes, colostomy bags ext. I provide safe , dependable care, in a professional manor making families feel at ease. I believe you care for those who once cared for you. I work two jobs and take care of my 80 year old Grandfather who is also in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. I love meeting new families and providing unconditional love and care to fit your family members needs. I strive to be detail oriented to help patients strive to the fullest so they don't decline; Giving them a comfort and joy to their life as I would for my own family member.

I currently work at a nursing home have been there for going on 5 months and I work with all types of residents from Dementia residents to Alzhemiers to residents that don't have any diagnosis. I love working with my residents and finding out new things about them every day. I change the breifs, shower them and even sometimes when the refuse I try to take them in the bathroom and at least wipe them down to prevent infections. I always where gloves to protect me and my loved ones. I cherish my residents as if they were my family and love them as so.

Every day that I get to improve someone's quality of life and bring some happiness back to them especially those who don't have family or busy family it makes me proud to let them know I'm there if they need me, it's not a job to me it's about comforting and inspiring others. I treat my clients like family so they know I really do care. I have had several dementia clients and CPR certified

I am kind, nice, caring, and get along really well with all my residents I take care of. I love to get to know the people I take care of. It's nice to know you have someone taking care of you whose caring to their needs. This is not just a paycheck to me. Taking care of the elderly is something I'm passionate about and I meet a lot of good clients/patients who become friends to me. I enjoy what I do.
