However, I have grown tired of fighting with Medicare and have chosen to focus on caregiving rather than my previous career in therapy so that i can completelyfocus all my attention on my patient. I have been a RN for 34 Yrs, I lost my job from NMMC in Oct. I enjoy working nights. I have been working on the rehab floor. Would like to find a 12 hr. shift job. Caring for others is what makes me whole and gives me great self satisfaction. I am divorced and am available prn. I prefer not to work days. I have been on evenings/nights for a long time. I have wanted to be a nurse as long as I can remember.

Hello my name is Mayra Vallejo. I became a CNA because working for somebody that needs love and attention satisfies my soul. After my first job as a caregiver to my father-in-law, I knew this was the work I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I'm a very patient person I have intuition towards peoples needs and wants. Being compassionate towards others is always my first priority. I do not have a ton of experience that I wish I had but the little that I have pushes me to keep doing what my heart desires and that is caring for others. I enjoy knowing that I have made someone happy and give the families a peace of mind that their loved ones are in ther right hands. I have several personal achievements that I'm proud of; 1. Having 3 adorable children, I consider myself very blessed to have them in my life. 2. Attaining my CNA license, this made my parents and children very proud of me after a few setbacks in life. 3.
