I've also have experience in PCA duties as well. I just love helping people. I've always felt like it was my duty to do so. I became a caregiver about 6 years ago. As a child I took care of my grandmother when she was sick and had surgery and I really enjoyed it. When I got in my teen years my mother had to have a major operation and ended up with a nasty infection, so I got to clean and change bandages and give her medications via IV and this has been my passion ever since. I love working with people to help them with daily needs that they can no longer do on their on. I also enjoy spending time and getting to know the people I work with. I am proud to say I have been to school and gotten my CNA I certificate and am currently enrolled in school to get my Associates degree of Applied Science in Medical Assisting. I am working to get my RN and hopefully will not stop until I have my Mastered degree. I have always wanted to work in the medical field since I was a little girl to help people that are sick and/or unable to care for themselves. I am a single mother of 5 wonderful and smart little boys and have worked hard to be a wonderful mom, wonderful caregiver, and hard working student.
