Hi my name is Chelsea and I'm am 25 years old. What attracted me to be a caregiver is every since I was little I have always loved helping and taking care of people. My mother and grandmother were both CNAs and loved what they did. I had worked for Transylvania Regional Hospital for nearly 15 years when the economy forced them to lay off 38 of us aides who were "Home Health Aides" out in Transylvania and Henderson counties. I was a prn aide, working an average of 10 to 30 hours per week, depending on the need of TRH. I cared for a variety of patients around both counties.
