Am a 27 year old female care giver. I became a caregiver because I believe in helping and making someone's day better. My achievement in this job has been being able to help clients and achieve their health goals like recovery. I have been a caregiver close to seven years and making an impact in one's life is my ultimate goal.

Professional and honest caregiver

Becoming a caregiver grew from my personal experience of caring for my grandfather. My grandfather built his home with his own hands and all he wanted was to live out his life in it. Watching him become less capable to care for himself and his house quickly became the driving force behind my overpowering desire to help seniors stay in their homes. Think of me like a multi tasking personal life assistant! What is that you ask? Well...... not only can I provide assistance with daily living tasks, but I can also assist with all aspects of household management. I can accompany you to appointments, be an advocate by your side, a voice for you, or just help you by listening and taking notes. I can help you run errands, food shop & track and manage household management tasks like maintenance & repairs. One day I may be fixing the dishwasher, the next day I'm correlating all your upcoming medical appointments and family visits. I believe that our age should not dominate our lives, how old we are does not determine who we are. I will do anything I can to help someone continue living in their home, because I believe if that's what they wish, then they deserve a chance. Aging in place is a realistic and viable option that we should always consider.

I am a college student currently studying speech pathology at Umass Amherst. I have been a caregiver for the past 6 years, and I have loved every moment of it! am a well experienced home health aid. Passionate, reliable and dependable . 8 years of experience in this field caring for patients with MS, Dementia, Alzheimer, stroke, cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, respiratory disease, diabetes, fall risk, depression. And hospice care. My responsibilities were, transportation of patients to doctors appointment, bathing and dressing them up, companionship, making beds, doing laundry remind or give medicine to patients, check vital signs or apply lotion to dry skin areas, change bandage, light house cleaning, am able to lift my clients, transfer them in and out of wheelchair to their beds. I can also manage using a Hoyer lift. I have excellent communication skills guided by good relationship with clients, strong work ethics since am dedicated to getting the job done, positive attitude, time management abilities, self confidence, ability to accept and learn from criticism, flexible and l love my job and very hardworking. I will highly appreciate if am considered me.

1. I became a caregiver to help people who need support. I want to build a family and support and its a career that helps other people as well. A job should be something you are happy doing and I find it very rewarding be able to help others. I have always been a person that wants to help others. It is the care and compassion that that you put into the work that is most meaningful. 2. I love the joy of seeing others appreciate the work that I do.
