Hello my name is Tavia and I have been a Caregiver since 1998. I became a CNA because back in High School I went to various nursing homes and hospitals to volunteer to help the elderly and I enjoyed it. I love making a difference and treating people how I want to be treated. What I like most is building relationships and giving my client a great experience. I am a fun, laid back, compassionate person. I am a believer that being professional does not mean not having fun or enjoying your job. I love being a caregiver because I love helping people. I enjoy making people's lives or even just days better; that is one of the things that gives me the most sense of accomplishment. A personal achievement in proud of is my perseverance as a mother. Being a mother turned my whole life upside down and it has been a hard journey. But as my kids get older, I can see my efforts paying off and I'm really proud of myself for the way I've raised them, because this is the most important job of my life.
