I became a CNA because back in High School I went to various nursing homes and hospitals to volunteer to help the elderly and I enjoyed it. I am a fun, laid back, compassionate person. I am a believer that being professional does not mean not having fun or enjoying your job. I love being a caregiver because I love helping people. I enjoy making people's lives or even just days better; that is one of the things that gives me the most sense of accomplishment. A personal achievement in proud of is my perseverance as a mother. Being a mother turned my whole life upside down and it has been a hard journey. After my sons passing I realize that I could make a difference in someone else's life and I choose Geriatric because I felt pediatric would be a little bit difficult for me to handle.
