When I was born, my parents were older. So, I just grew up with older people around me all of the time. Later on, my mother got sick and I cared for her for 8 years until she died. My father then got Alzheimers and I cared for him. I've just naturally always been a caregiver.

I look at each person as if they were my own parents. I put my heart into everything I do and enjoy each day that I'm given, to spread joy and happiness to every person I meet. The health and wellbeing of your family members are as Important to me as they are to you and yours. Thank you for the opportunity to take care of your loved ones.

I do have my clearances and my back ground check and FBI check I became a care giver because i wanted to help the ones that need help with their daily needs .I like helping people with their daily needs and i love getting to know them and their family's . It's a great feeling to know that you are doing something and caring for someone that needs a little or alot of help . It makes me feel happy when the one i'am caring for is happy and their family is also happy with the care i give them . I have been a care giver for almost 20 years . I stopped working for awhile , when my Grandmother (103) was getting worse and she need more help before she passed this year . i wouldn't change doing what i've been doing .

I first knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 15 years old. I started taking care of my great-grandmother in her home and absolutely loved every aspect of it, so I made it my career. It gives me so much joy to know that everyday I am making a difference in peoples lives by just being there to make life easier, providing the quality empathetic care they deserve and just being that someone they can count on daily. I take great pride in my work being reliable, honest, dedicated and trustworthy. I am licensed in the state of New York as an LPN and have gained many great skills in all aspects of nursing.

Because I love people, and when I was a little girl my grama had a heart attack in our home and no one knew what to do, I love and enjoy taking care of the residents and listening to there stories when they was young, my achievement is seeing them smile. And knowing I can make there day, I am 4'10 and weight 93 lbs but I am very strong I am currently at millcreek manor love my job I'm used of working 120 hrs in two weeks our staff picked up I now work my normal 75 hrs would love more hrs

I feel that I am a great caregiver because unfortunately I am unable to have children so my maternal instincts carry over to the person I am caring for. I love helping people and being able to help someone stay home for as long as possible is very important.
