Hi! My name is Kathy Masino. I am a retired Registered Nurse who decided to stay at home and raise my 3 beautiful children who are now grown and doing their own thing out in the world. I could not be prouder of them or more thankful for the opportunity I had to stay home and raise them. I truly miss the nursing aspect that brought much joy and fulfillment to my life. I would love the opportunity to work again with the elderly in the capacity of a companion with the added benefit of having a nursing background. I believe everyone deserves respect, dignity, compassion in the elder years. Growing old is not easy and unfortunately Father Time gets us all! I have always enjoyed the stories and the quiet moments with elders. They have much to share and much to learn from.

I am a very optimistic and caring person. I treat and take care of others the way I would want to be treated. I love to smile and bring my happiness and smile everywhere I go. I do get attached to the people I take care off! I love helping people and have a huge heart. A personal achievement I am proud of is being able to stay positive during the pandemic and continuing to do what I love most which is helping people and my community

I went back to finish my career which was I tough descious. I have over 25 years of experience. I had to lower my hours, change my life circumstances, etc.. but I enjoy it. I am a mother of 8 a grandmother of 4 and I just take life one day at.

I started working as a certified nursing assistant and I did that for about 2 years. I wasn't to fond of how rushed the nursing home setting is so I left that line of work. I missed working with my residents so much and knew I just needed to do something more individualized. That way I knew I was giving each person the proper amount of care and socialization that every human being needs. Which is where I know that home health was my calling. I have a certificate in mental health which helps a lot of people when they are in need of a someone who can put them at ease. I have two littles of my own and I also have pets so those won't deter me from helping anyone.

I am a patient and understanding person and love to help people sick or not I have been a cna for20years and before that took care of my father in law for 7 years he had throat cancer I love what I do iam an excellent caregiver because its in my heart. I love this line of work because im a people person and I'll treat everyone as I would want to be treated or as i would want someone to treat my parents.

Before going into food service I was CNA at mm Ewing continuing care center at FF Thompson Health Care. This career choice has many rewards and therefore I chose to further my education. I attended University of Phoenix and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare. My overall goal is to one day be my own boss and assist families with helping their loved ones at home. I became a caregiver mostly because when I was a younger girl, I was raised by my god mother who was the absolute best person I've ever met. Unfortunately she became very ill and even though I was young I did everything I could to help, to care for her, and to make sure she knew she was loved. When she passed away in 2005 I started working in a senior living center where I found the love of helping others like I did when I cared for my mom. I knew it was what I wanted to do. I love being a caregiver because when I see the expression on others faces after helping them, and making their lives as easy a possible it honestly puts a smile on my face and warmth in my heart. A personal achievement over the years of caregiving has to be the amount of levels of experience and different fields I have worked in the health field. Looking back now I am extremely proud of starting out years ago and thinking about all the things I've done, the people I have helped, and the experience I have gained. A little about me.. I am very hard working, motivated, and honest human being. I have a good personality and I love to make others smile. I love being a caregiver and I have always put my best effort forward when it comes to my job. Outside of work I love being with my family, and my friends. Spending time outside, seeing new places, movies and music.
