I love helping the elderly I've been doing it since I was 16. That is my passion to help someone. I can say that every client or patient loved and liked me a lot. I do a good job go above and beyond. I treat the elderly like that was one of my grandparents.

Only because i've VERY successfully cared for both M/F. This type of work is very specific, and requires dilligence 100% of the time. I enjoy this work for many reasons, but the biggest is to provide comfort, safety, and make my clients, your loved ones feel like they have my trust, and i'll earn theirs.That happens out of the utmost respect, kindness, patience, and highest level of care. Sometimes clients, residents just want to talk to you if you have positive energy, they detect that from caregivers. I'm not gonna write 1,000 words to describe how much i love this field of work. It's work that some can do, some can't, i'm outgoing, funny, happy and very approchable, and sociall. I have a 26yr old daughter, and a 19yr old son those are pretty much my friends, my life, my greatest blessing, achievements. Due to the fact they're really great people. I also take care of my mother who,s gonna be 80 in april, she has a benigne ping pong size brain tumor that has her 80% blind. My fathers 75 and has major arthritis but i kept them in their home, it's a sacrafice that i do happily. My kids do come to care for my parents when i'm working. Even as a little girl I have always enjoyed helping people any way I could. I have always been drawn to the medical field in some way. I started as a PCA helping with medications, insulin, wound care, some personal care. I then became a CNA and have worked with many wonderful people. From helping with basic care needs, to being someone they could share company with. To full care needs. Dressing, dinning, bathing, physical therapy, helping transfer from sitting ro standing. Wheelchair to bed. I love being able to make someone smile in anyway I can.

I started caring for people since before I even could understand what it was. My little sister is severely autistic. I would help her with her activities of daily living everyday. When I got out of high school in 2010 I started working as an STNA in Ohio. I have worked in multiple nursing homes, home care agencies, group homes, and day programs. I can't say I have seen it all but I have seen a lot. I learn something new everyday and I love to learn. I have alot of experience from alzeimers and dementia to schizophrenia. Being a care giver gives me a great deal of purpose. Helping people gives me a sense of joy. One personal achievement I have made by myself would be starting as a care giver in a group home and got promoted to a site supervisor.
