I'm a great caregiver because im a compassionate person and I love what I do. I wanted to be a caregiver because I love taking care if sick people and people with challenges. Something I enjoy most about being a caregiver is when I interact with the clients.

I became a a Registered Nurse (Acute Nurse) because people's health is my concern. Assist clients who needs my services to perform their daily activity, Assessment of the patient and reporting changes to the appropriate health team. I am proud of myself being able to assist individuals who need my assistance, and also able to redirect them in a safe way according to what they are experiencing. I am smart, assertive and intelligent lady who takes initiate within my job description. I am productive with any work or task given. I complete my work effectively. I am welcoming.

Actually, I am a Registered Nurse. Characteristics: dependable, honest, independent, optimistic, hard-working, encouraging, a problem solver, a good listener and communicator. I became interested in health care when I was 10 years old and in the hospital over Christmas having had an emergency appendectomy. My mom worked for a doctor (earning $1 an hour) and was always telling us about interesting cases and teaching us strange sounding medical terminology. Most of my nursing career was in a Medical Intensive Care Unit at Ohio State University Medical Center. After that exciting career, I started working in Home Health in 2008. I enjoy working 1 on 1 with my clients, offering encouragement, seeing that they are receiving proper care, and hearing their life stories.

I am a very personable enthusiastic and compassionate individual. I was an EMT for many years and took care of elderly patientsI also am a certified Mefical Assistant. . I have been state tested since graduating high school. I am a mother of 4 and a wife of 13 yrs. I love working with patients and their family. I am very well at leaving my personal life at the door and being able to enjoy my day at work. Caring for people is all I know how to do. I just have to be able to be a parent as well with schools being done at home so can't do the long shifts of working in a nursing home. I take as many extra learning as can to help enhance my certification . I'm very easy to get along with and as flexible as needed. I have worked in home health, hospitals, as well as Nursing homes. My patients happiness means a lot to me or how the family thinks of me so always try to do my best. I have always liked helping people which is why I chose this field right out of high school. I have always kept my certification in good standing I've had my certification since 2001 and still on state registry with no complaints ever on my care. Welcoming you with warm wishes. Just wanted to share alittle about me. I'm 34 yrs old. I've worked since age 14yrs. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids. I enjoyed working hard and I have always been a giving hearted person. I remember I used to get my paychecks an was so excited I was able to but my mom dinner from a days hard of work. I was first introduced to an entry level position in the State of Kansas as a Residential Trainer for people who face physical and mental challenges and I did that for 3 years. It was so rewarding. Very hard work but I have always been very open to learning new things and I enjoy challenges. If we stay in where were comfortable. The you limit yourself from learning and doing what you can to be the hands and feet for Gods kingdom. After doing that for 3 yrs I decided to get my nurses aide license and doing that for so many years has been such a wonderful opportunity. I absolutely love my elders and I AM THE VOICE WHO SPEAKS UP FOR THEM. I believe that there is way too many people shoved in a room with a facility that lacks sufficient staffing to give the residents attention to give them the essentials like a regular bath and hygiene and clothes put on. I've seen too much of the THE BAD AND THE UGLY in institutions and to me that's NO WAY for anyone to live or spend there retirement in. I love talking and sharing stories, praying, I enjoy providing exceptional care to all clients I come in contact. I'm very friendly. My passion in life is people going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm flexible and reliable as I dont have any kids. Just 3 sweet dogs.
