I am skilled with Medicare insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket so they can get what they need to stay home. I have worked with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I have always made sure I am worth what I make. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help around the house. I can take you or just run errands for you. My references will tell you what I do not. I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I find the greatest reward in my job is meeting people who matter , and can offer as much to me as i can to them. I believe i learn from every person ive ever cared for. I am most proud of having every person ive ever cared for like the person i am and be leased with the care i have given them. Hi my names Veronica and after helping take care of my grandfather who struggled fighting cancer I had decided my true passion and joy came from helping others. While in high school I decided to obtain my CNA/GNA license where I then got a job working in long term and rehabilitation care at a nursing home near my house. While I was very proud of my academics, I was most proud that I had received many awards such as Player of the Year while leading my field hockey team. After graduating I went on to play Division III Field Hockey while studying to be a naturopathic physician. Now I'm completing my schooling online while working in a dementia facility near Howard Community College. I find my love for sports is a great conversation topic with my patients as well as my ability to show respect and treat others with kindness comes in handy when working as a care manager.

After helping take care of my oldest sister before she passed away I found that it is very rewarding to assist those who need help with daily needs. I enjoy getting to know the person I am taking care of; their background and life experiences. Learning from them is always fun. I love to motivate people; I had a client who would separate himself from the group, after finding out some of his interest I was able to get him to engage and socialize with others. I am self motivated and always do not only what is necessary to take care of my clients but to go that extra step to make them feel special and cared for.
