I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references. I am skilled with Medicare insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket so they can get what they need to stay home. I have worked with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I have always made sure I am worth what I make. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help around the house. I can take you or just run errands for you. My references will tell you what I do not. I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.

I started as a CNA info 1994 working in a nursing home and the hospital. I went into this profession because i want to take care of people that can not take care of themselves and their families are unable to. I am very compassionate about the work that I do. The people that I have taken care of over the years i have treated with the same respect and dignity that i would want for my family. I love what I do and get great pressure taking care of others.

I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I find the greatest reward in my job is meeting people who matter , and can offer as much to me as i can to them. I believe i learn from every person ive ever cared for. I felt in love with the work through voluntary work. I was taken care of people who are mentally challenged. I love to see I made a difference in a person's life. Through an extensive training I had as a Med. Technician , through MBON, I was able to administer meds, check with vitals, administer CPR and First Aid.I gave injections to people with Diabetes and also check with their blood sugar. Aside this, I took care of their personal hygiene and run errands for them. I prepare their meals and get them ready for their daily activities. I schedule their doctor's appointments and make sure to honor those appointment. Doing this gave me the confidence to take up a manager's position which I excelled!

After helping take care of my oldest sister before she passed away I found that it is very rewarding to assist those who need help with daily needs. I enjoy getting to know the person I am taking care of; their background and life experiences. Learning from them is always fun. I love to motivate people; I had a client who would separate himself from the group, after finding out some of his interest I was able to get him to engage and socialize with others. I am self motivated and always do not only what is necessary to take care of my clients but to go that extra step to make them feel special and cared for.
