I began my study in the science of nursing, applied myself academically, received scholarships and graduated with honors because I wanted a good job with the opportunity for growth and advancement. This is the statement many people use in the cover letter of a resume without understanding what it really means. During my tours of duty I had the pleasure of working with a diverse population of people who taught me everything I know today. I learned to listen, be prudent, patient, empathetic and humble, and build trusting relationships. I didn't learn this from professors in college, instructors during clinical rotations, nor preceptors who oriented me to a new health care position. I learned from our seniors who struggle with dementia, our children who struggle with genetic disease syndrome, and our family, friends and neighbors who struggle with mental illness. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work in the areas of geriatric, pediatric, and behavioral health nursing. The people in my care revealed to me without saying a word that the good job with the opportunity for growth and advancement that I was looking for was with me the whole time. I was the good job that needed to be done, and I have people like your loved ones to thank for that. Early in my career as a registered nurse I decided to focus on home care because it was depressing to be surrounded by sick people who had to wait for pain medication, and help with meals, bathing, grooming, and toileting, and I couldn't help all of them. Home care affords me the time to focus on my actual employer's business at hand. That is your loved one's needs and concerns. I am looking forward to continuing my growth and advancement with everything they have to teach me. Thank you for taking the time to read about me, and I look forward to hearing from you. Home Care in Beaver Falls PA,
Hi, My name is Rochelle 27, and I'm Registered Nurse in the Philippines. I'm experienced caregiver as well. I have 4 years of experience with Parkinson and Alzheimer's patient doing grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, putting in and out of bed for partially paralyzed patient. I can assist with medication, feeding, preparing light meals, companionship, and light house keeping. I have experienced working in Assisted living in Florida and Private Caregiver/companion. I started being passionate of taking care of other people when I enrolled into a Nursing School. The sense of fulfillment you get when you know you help someone is priceless. Being a caregiver/ companion is not just a 'job'. It requires dedication, care and a lot of love for you to be able to do your part. You let them feel that you care for them and not just a regular employee to them. I enjoyed being a caregiver mainly because this is what I'm good at and what I'm passionate of. Seeing my client/patients happy and well taking care of is my main achievement as a caregiver. I just moved to beaver falls PA. I'm available to work from Monday-Friday 8am-3pm or 3-11pm depending on the available position. I'm available anytime.. Have a wonderful day!
