Hi! I'm a newly stay at home mom and Registered Nurse. I have two children, ages 9 and 5 months. As a mother, nurse and previous medical technician, I've been caring for others for the last 20 years in various capacities. I started my bursing degree in 2008 and left the program to stay home with my husbands grandmother. She was diagnksed with early alzheimers and needed daily companionship. I assisted with mealsz dressing, bathing, outings. Keeping her happy and safe. After her passing I went back to work as a dialysis technician. During my career there, monitoring the safety/vitals of my patients was an important role. I also worked my way through school to obtain my degree in nursing. I have a passion for caring for others. The majority of my patients in dialysis are geriatrics. I understand the sensitivity you need when someone is coming to grips with needing assistance with basic things they've done for themselves. It can be difficult to give up that independence.
