I believe what makes me a great caregiver is the experience I have. I have 5 years experience working for an agency and independently. I have significant experience with hospice care, dementia, Alzheimers , Parkinson's, COPD, cancers, companion care and the general everyday care of those that can't do things for themselves anymore like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and showers. I always keep medical books in the homes of my clients/patients. On every shift I always take blood pressure , temperature and oxygen so that Vitals can be monitored regularly for any changes. The medical books will keep logs of daily living such as any Dr appointments, mood changes, medications, vitals, daily diet and activities. It's important to catch/detect any change in health. Communication is big with me on keeping everyone on the same page so that the best care can be given at all times. I'm a registered health care aid, . CPR/First Aide certified. I became a health care aide because I believe our loved ones get better care at home from one on one care opposed to a nursing home.

I am very love helping others and getting them back on there feet.I have been a cna for 19 years. I love my job. I am also attending college to become a social worker.I love helping assist people in need with their daily living. I take care of my patients as if it is me taking care of my parents or loved ones. I take care of my mother who has had 12 stokes and she is strong she is my biggest role model no matter what life throws you never give up help thos in need and give when u can and you will be blessed. That me in a nut shell.

I stayed by her side until she fell asleep . It made her feel like she wasn't alone and she wasn't as scared. To make her feel better was a accomplishment.

Hello, My name is DeAnna. I have been in the line of health care for 13 years, working in nursing homes as a state Certified Nurses Aide as well as in private homes as a Home Health Aide. I have worked with many various ailments both mental and physical. I specialize in rehabilitation, Alzheimer's/Dementia, and skilled nursing/hospice. I love knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone's life! I also own and operate a senior care and service company. I have a great group of girls that were my co-workers until I decided to make my own business. I actively work as a cargiver within my company and make minimal profit off hours I dont personally work as a care giver. What this means is I have well paid aides who enjoy working for/with me and I can take the burden of hiring and scheduling cargivers off your shoulders. We have on call aides to fill in should anything unexpected come up for a caregiver so you need not ever worry about someone not coming. Currently a nursing student looking for a job with flexibility, my school schedule will come out in the beginning of the semester and I have to work around that , with covid I'm trying to get a job away from the virus that will allow me close patient care , and decent pay. I love to care for other but with the danger of covid it's becoming harder and harder everyday
