I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. I am very positive and upbeat, I am kind and caring, I am very passionate in what I do. There is nothing else I would rather be doing than helping someone else in need. That is where my heart is at. I`ve been in the caretaking field of work for 34 years and have no desire to stop anytime soon. I`ve always felt a call on my life to be a caregiver, my heart has never been drawn anywhere else, it's just that simple. I love what I do. Hello everyone, my name is Kim. I am originally from NC, which is where I have, so far, completed my education and skills. I have years of experience in patient care. I am a very compassionate and empathetic caregiver. I'm able to adapt well to different personalities. My strongest personality traits are my listening skills and my keen intuition. I became more interested in geriatrics when I became a medical assistant. I enjoyed emergency medicine but God gave me this incredible ability to love people, like I have known them my whole life. A personal achievement I am proud of and blessed to have, are my two sons. My oldest is 8 yrs old and is Autistic.
