I overly care for all people, I've worked with several different caregiver companies. I've always loved helping elderly/disabled people. I enjoy the clients the most. They mean so much to me. I've worked in health care since I turned 18 and I love it. I've done it for so long I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

I have faithfully, compassionately and lovingly cared for people consecutively for 27yrs. I have done Home Health, Private Duty, Companion Care and Live-In. I have a great love and respect of elderly. Their knowledge and experiences in and of life are priceless. I have dealt with elderly care all of my career and the challenges it encompasses. It's very hard for them to admit to needing care and harder for them to relinquish their independence. Having a close understanding of this challenge is vital to gaining trust so they will allow assistance from a caregiver. It is a privilege to be allowed into someone's life on such a personal side, not just in their home but to provide personal care. I pride myself on being trustworthy ,dependable , compassionate as well as finding the ability to persuade them into doing what is best for them I.E exercises, bathing, eating correctly. Having good character and integrity is top priority in this occupation. I have references and background check available upon request. On a more personal note, I am a wife, mother and grandmother who values family immensely. As a child, my mom worked in Alzheimer's , dementia, and other neurological disorders at UT Medical Center. I volunteered with her through high school then majored in social work in college. From a very young age, I knew I had a passion for making people happy and making sure they were okay. I am happiest when I am helping others. I am a kind individual who's incredibly detail oriented. I am very organized and like to keep things clean. In my spare time, I do art and would enjoy doing activities with anyone I look after. In a previous position, I used art therapy with autistic children to great success. I am certified in CPR, first aid, and Safe Crisis Management(Emergency restraints).

I have a love and gift for service of others; whether it's humans, animals, or plants. In all of my day to day activities I find that I receive the most satisfaction when I'm assisting others in some way. Whether it's help with daily chores, organizing, or just a friendly ear to talk to, I put my best effort in everything I do! My passion for caring for others began when I was a little girl. My mother was confined to a wheelchair and she had no use of either legs; yet she was absolutely one of the most positive people I've ever met. I love asking questions and seeing the world through someone else's eyes; especially eyes that have seen this beautiful world go through so many phases. Being a caregiver to me is so much more than just a job. It's about doing something that I'm passionately GOOD at, something that brings my heart joy. I'm an avid go-getter and love being put on projects!
