I'm a wonderful care giver and I have been in the medical field for 34+ years, I enjoy taking care of patients. I hope to someday returning to school and becoming an RN. I am caring, compassionate, giving, able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. My husband was previously "full care" after suffering a CVA in November of 2014. I learned how to take care of and manage a Stroke patient post-surgical. I am also a retired volunteer Fire Fighter/ EMS and I am a licensed Massage Therapist. I feel these qualities will assist me with my duties as a Home Health Care provider.

I have faithfully, compassionately and lovingly cared for people consecutively for 27yrs. I have done Home Health, Private Duty, Companion Care and Live-In. For the past 5 1/2 years/24/7 I was the only caregiver for a quadriplegic client on a ventilator. Honest, kind, caring, loyal, trustworthy, reliable, dependable., punctual and passionate. I have been a nurse for over 25 yrs and absolutely love being a caregiver. I have experience with patients from all age ranges and have managed many different medical conditions in various healthcare settings. My most enjoyment and satisfaction of being a caregiver comes from being able to spend time with my patients not only to just administer a medication, or perform a treatment, but to truly get to know my patient as a whole person. If there is something I can do to improve my patient's quality of life, or make things a bit easier for them, or bring a smile to their face, then that is what I want to do.

I became a caregiver after the birth of my 4th child when I realized how much I really enjoyed taking care of people. It is such a great feeling to know I am helping someone who can not do it for themselves any longer and that may be me or a loved one someday. I started off as a certified nursing assistant but soon realized I wanted more knowledge and returned to college to get my license as an emergency medical technician. I soon found out that whether I am working in a facility, someones home or an ambulance these skills are of great importance. I am a christian mother of 4 children two of which are grown and two grandchildren. I have been happily married now for many years to a wonderful man.
