Hello I have been a CNA for over 10 years. I've worked from Texas to Colorado during covid. Recently I had my first child who is 11 months already so I am finally going to settle down in one spot. I've lived in Corsicana for 17 years so this is home. I followed in my sister's footsteps who was a CNA first and in my opinion the best if I can be half as good as she was. I like the one on one time with my patients versus the nursing home environment which is fast paced very little time with each patient. I've worked in nursing homes for all 17 years either with an agency or the facility it's self. I've worked as a sitter for different families as well during my time.

And there is quality to life and I believe you can live it to the fullest.I know it is hard on a client when they can no longer do the things that they use to do and that is very understandable, you have to have time and patience until they can wrap their mind around what has happen to them and it can be frustrating for them and you reassure them that everything is going to be OK, and with time they can come around . I love taking care of people and doing the health care field has been a dream of mines since I was about 12 years old . I have an Associates Degree in Science Health Administration and am currently going to school for my Bachelor's degree in Health. This is something that I was born to do and I don't like when people aren't treated like human beings just because they need a little help.
