I have experience working w/ the Hoyer lift & wheelchair (both manual & electric). I do my best to get clients up & around, keeping their blood flowing and muscles strong. I don't have patients I have new family members to care for. It's my effortless compassion to focus on him/her with love, kindness and a desire to learn their needs with adaptability. I became a caregiver because my loved ones (your family members) need to know someone cares and is fully committed to fulfilling their needs, as they deserve. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is restoring security, safety, and trust during our newfound relationship. One of my proudest personal achievements is when I realized I have the ability to love everyone. I love to see the elderly smile and laugh. I've worked at home health and nursing homes and have seen happy and sad people in the homes and if I was them I'd want to be happy in their home even if it's in a nursing home so it's Better to enjoy your job than to hate it. And I love to work with them.
