I've worked as a nurse assistant over 16 yrs caring for disabled, elderly, ill, and mentally challenged clients. I have worked in nursing home, hospital, home care, senior facility, respite care, private duty, direct care service, and hospice care, and trained in massage. I like to challenge myself as a caregiver with promoting new work skills. My time is giving care to others, that cannot do for themselves. My achievement is to see my three children succeed in the life that values them. For myself, to be recognized for my work performance, that's giving to each individual that has been cared for, show appreciation. I had several resident tell me that I'm wonderful, and I had a tearful moment. It's a blessing to hear positive thinking from a client. What makes me a great caregiver my heart is about the client and they care and well bein and making sure they are cared for properly and have a companionship with there making it about them letting them know they are still loved and no matter what I'm there for any needs to be met by them I became a caregiver because I use to go to work with my mom and watch her care for her clients and I always told myself I wanted to be someone who could be there for someone who could not be there for themselves and I want them to know I'm there for them and they are like family to me in anyways to be I being doing this over 20 yrs I have well experience caring for patients in there homes in the assist facilities and nursing home home I even worked in group homes I know how to use the hoyer lift and transfers meal prep dealing with medication reminders and doing the medication ADL for the clients cooking, cleaning , grooming went to the Doctor appointments and having a companionship with them letting them know it's about them and not me because my duty is to make sure they are comfortable

I'm friendly, people person you can count on , hard worker, dependable, motivated and very competent in getting the job done. I started out in this field receiving my CNA many years ago and have advanced and developed many skills since then . Because of my eagerness to grow and learn I have held many positions, I have been in the nursing field for over 30 years and have compassion and patience when dealing with clients and always maintain a high level of professionalism . Been a caregiver I love known when I take care of a patient i give my best to make sure they are right in every way and when I'm finish I'm smiling from ear to ear cause I know I just made GOD proud ' my mom got real sick before she died and I had to learn how to take care of her and I did, my personal achievement I'm proud of is when I not just having my patients looking and feeling good on the out side but feeling good and motivated in the inside to

I'm a wife and mother of 4 ,who also has a parents and grandparents, whom taught me to always treat elders with respect as if it was my own parent or grand parent. I always treat my clients or patients with tender loving care as if they were my own.

Finding the right person can be bit challenging trust me I understand & get it. As a Caregiver Id like to think exactly what it is and the exact meaning to the word itself. I personally think the word speaks for its self, being able to care for people and give the help, assistance, guidance to those in need. Little background: Fresh out of high school my background career wise was in healthcare/medical. Growing up I would always have a soft spot and always tried to be a help in hand to not just those in need or look like they where in need but especially to all my elders or those older then me. I was always taught to respect my elders and if I see some one needing help then be there and help assist even if some choose not to except that help....a help in hand to people is the best feeling ever knowing your capable to help them. Ive always had the heart, the compassion, the care and love for people in general which to me is a great feeling and something I love and feel good about at the end of the day. I look at it as being able to count my blessings one day if u no what I mean) Believe it or not, I truly look at it as if and thinking that one day I'm going to have to get older as well and may need that same help though and hopefully I would have or get the same kindness from others as well. Being that my background was in the medical field and working at several doctors offices having to work with patients day to day actually guided me into becoming a caregiver because ive always had the love, the compassion, just having the willing to help someone just because, and sometimes just having the patience with them because being able to have patience is EVERYTHING

I have 20yrs experience in caregiver/companion. I started working as a caregiver after my father had a stroke and heart attack and i had no one to help me care for him. After my father passed away, i became committed to helping other family and it became my GOD GIFT to care for my clients with as much of love as it was my own family member. I am a caring, loving, honest, compassionate and flexible person who started taking care of my father who was diagnose with Leukemia about 17 yrs ago. While taking care of my father, I found joy in caring for others.After losing my father I card for other family members while obtaining my CNA license. I enjoy learning person information about the patient. Building a bond with a person who one day you will consider family. One of my personal achievements was completing schooling for Funeral Director and Embalming I successful completed school March of 2018.
