Hello,I've been in the home health business for 25yrs. I'm comfortable and familiar with every aspect of care giving . I've never met a stranger a day in my life,I can get along with anyone. I'm a quick study and welcome learning something new everyday.

What makes me great, is the love, compassion, my loyalty to my clients and family. Everyone has a calling, a purpose in life. And for me is helping, giving and sharing with others. My biggest achievement is watching someone get their confident back and feeling that they are not in it by them selves. Sharing their smiles, laughter and even tears. Just to know they know someone really care.

Being a caregiver is all I've ever known! I have a special needs son that is now 17 and thriving as best he can and my father was hit by a drunk driver that severed his spinal cord leaving him without the use of his legs. Being a caregiver is something that I feel God choose me for. It's my gift!

I am outgoing with a great sense of humor. I'm willing to help anyone in need and when I'm in, I'm all in. I am happy and have been told I have a funny personality. I am easy to talk to and a good listener. I understand people and I make friends easily, I consider myself to be very social. I am easy going. I am willing to help anyone at any time, but I do not like to be taken advantage of. I have good leadership qualities and am confident of myself. I'm able to keep a calm and level head whenever I am in situations of stress. I would like to consider myself someone who can relate to anyone and any culture and background. It allows me to make very personal connections with everyone I meet. I would tell them that I'm an honest and hardworking individual. I am usually busy and like to pursue my goals wholeheartedly. A little about me... I've been a certified nurses aide for over 20 years. I've worked in nursing homes, private sitting and I've worked in Hospice for the past 10 years. I love what I do. Since i started working as a CNA, I've gone to school to do other things, but I keep coming back as a CNA, so I feel this is my passion. My children are grown and I have 3 amazing and beautiful grand children, and another on the way. That's a little about me....

I am 31years old and have been a stay at home mom for 13 years. I have 3 children who are all in school now. I have also been the primary care giver to both my inlaws before their passing. They both had several diagnosis and along the way I educated myself and learned quite a bit. My father in law was diabetic, had heart problems and kidney failure. He was on dialysis for 6 years 3 times a week before we lost him. My mother in law who has only been gone for a short time suffered from Copd, arthritis, bradycardia, and dementia. The heart problem would have not came to light if I hadn't chose to document vitals throughout the day for personal records. After noticing the issue I brought it to the doctors attention a d she got a pacemaker.

I have been a caregiver for 3 years. I have experience in home health. I have experience in taking care of patience with dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke issues, bed-confined patients, etc... I enjoy caregiving because I like making a difference in people's lives.. I enjoy the opportunity to impact lives and make a difference. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses.
