Hi my name is Emily! I am a wife and Mom of 3! I have had a compassion for being a Caregiver since I graduated high school! I love being able to take care of people and show love and compassion for people! I love the medical field, I truly believe that God gave me the gift to just love and care for people! I have training and certification for Medical Assistance, Phlebotomist, Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis!

After caring for my fiance's bed bound Uncle for 2 years back in 2013, I found myself going to night school to get into the Medical Field, so I could do more for patients like him. The entire time I was putting myself through night school, I took care of a few other disabled elderly neighbors. While working at NCMC hospital, and then a Gastroenterologist office, I did not feel I was where God wanted me. After speaking with the doctor I was working for and his wife, they pointed me in a direction to help hospice clients. I finally felt I was where God wanted me. In December of 2019, after my sister passed away from cancer, my Mom called and asked me to come home. She said she needed me to help her during her surgeries. I didn't hesitate. I sold my house and moved up here to Fayetteville to help my brother with my Mom. 6 months later she passed and I found myself right back in Home Health Care. I have always gone where I was needed and wanted. The appreciation the clients show me, just from the way their eyes smile at me, that pulls me right back to where I feel I belong. My apologies for not being available on the weekends. I was blessed with becoming a grandmother, shortly after my mom passed, so my weekends are pretty much taken up by my precious Grandson. Monday - Friday, if I am open, I would love to step in and help. Remember, no matter where you are in this walk of life, God has a plan for each and everyone of us. I became a caregiver because my grandfather was ill when I was young I had to learn to assist with him I love to help people I started out as a CNA and then a med aid and now I am currently trying to get into RN program I am striving to be the best so that I can always be there to help people

I have been a caregiver my entire life. I helped my single dad raise my younger siblings, and when my grandfather had multiple strokes I became his home health care aide at the age of 16. I have experience with dementia and Alzheimer's along with memory care. I have always cares for those around me that can't care for themselves. The good lord knew I have a heart for caring for others and he blessed me with a wonderful autistic child. Caring for others gives me so much joy. It makes my heart happy to know I'm performing an honorable service and giving back. I love getting to know new people and hear about their lives. Visiting and reminiscing with my clients. I prefer home care because unlike in the facilities I can get to know my clients personally. Know their likes and dislikes. It makes me feel like I'm providing the best care possible.

I possess a strong passion to work for the elderly and am equipped with CPR ,First aid certification, Iv had the honor of taking Home Dialysis classes to assist client at home intstead of going in center for treatments. My 16 years of experience as an elderly caregiver has enabled me to understand the needs of the elderly. I am well versed in assisting them in daily activities and light exercise. I am honest and reliable.
