I love working with people, I am very caring and compassionate. I decided to become a caregiver after taking care of my parents when they became unable to care for themselves. I enjoy listening and talking to the elderly, I feel you can learn so much from them. My biggest personal achievement is my college degree which I achieved after my children graduated from high school.

I love to see the elderly smile and laugh. I've worked at home health and nursing homes and have seen happy and sad people in the homes and if I was them I'd want to be happy in their home even if it's in a nursing home so it's Better to enjoy your job than to hate it. I have worked in the Hospice field for about 10 years now, but overall as a CNA for 16 years. Helping others is my passion. I enjoy the stories, or just being the one to be there holding their hand as they pass so they are not alone. The work I do is not a job it is my calling.

I was first a caregiver for my grandparents with keeping their house, grocery shopping, and companionship. When my grandfather passed, I took care of my grandma in much the same way, but much more companionship. My mom developed renal failure, and when she became severely ill, I came home to take care of her - transportation, grocery shopping, grooming, dressing, renal meal prep, but mostly, companionship. With all three of them, my love and deep friendships with them are somethings I will never forget or ever give up. I would love to help your family and essentially love your family too.
