I became a CNA in 2016 while caring for my Special Needs Daughter. I knew it was in me to do so. I've grown to Love to make peoples needs so much more easier. I'm still trying to continue my career as a future Nurse.

As a great caregiver I try to remain very positive all the time. I am an honest and trust worthy person Being patient, responsible, dependable and have great communication skills with my patients is at the most important to me. As a caregiver I am very empathetic towards my patients and compassionate, it is what establishes a great relationship with each patient. I became a caregiver to be able to help those who cant help themselves, to try and help them build the confidence some may have lost during some difficult moments they must have gone through if it may have been through some therapy, or a on going treatment they are still facing. Offer those encouraging words we all need to hear from time to time, show them some one cares if they have no one else to turn too. Being a caregiver gives me great feeling knowing that I have made a difference in someones life. When I see a patient has recovered more that 50 percent it gives me great joy to know I have made a difference in someones life. To have a patient to being speechless to even a good morning is a huge difference to me. Its what makes me want to go to work every day and know I will continue to make a difference in someones life.

I help patients with daily activities, accompanying them to doctor appointments, cooking and serving meals, performing housekeeping duties, running errands, and providing companionship. I also make sure they get the right medication on time. I also shower them and have experience with down syndrome, Cather tube, wheel chair, special diet, deaf people, autism, seizures, and low iron level patients. for almost 2 years without calling a single day off.
