I am Virginia Board Certified Nursing Assistant with over five years of home health and assisted living care. After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. I took care of my sick mother until she passed away. Later, a friend introduced me to the field of caregiving. Though I had formerly been a school teacher, caregiving fit like a glove. A client once asked me why I chose this profession, and I told her that I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. I offer personal care, housekeeping services, and companionship. When my client was dying, I held her hand the entire time, not knowing that the daughter had entered the room and observed my action. After her death I received a note from the daughter describing how she had been touched by my action. As a former teacher, I am punctual, compassionate, empathetic, and sentimental; I laugh and cry with my clients. My current job involves caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. I have recently been providing a client with personal hygiene in the morning through CareLinx.

I have a big heart for the elderly and have worked in this field for a while (9 years). I have cared for members of my family and other people's families and would love the opportunity to put a smile on someone 's face. I have always longed to help out people since childhood especially the elderly. Just reminding myself that they were once able to do everything by themselves ,drives me to wholeheartedly help them out in their activities of daily living. I am a very patient person. I started caregiving position when 1st I came to USA. I used to take care of my grandmother for more than two years. I was with her still the end. I had to quite my job and take care of her because I LOVE HER SO MUCH. I love to be with people who needs help and I will satisfied when I see them happy. I work this job for about 7 years. I used CNA licence from 2009 to 2017. I had to go to college and I finished my associate's 2018. I love working as a CNA because I love helping people.
