Hello, my name is Xochi, a flower in the Aztec language. However, my middle name is Amy, which is easier to remember. I have been told often that I have a big heart and compassion for others. I have been previously in the social work field for the last twenty-five years. But what came next has impacted my life and led me to the decision I am much happier in the caregiver field. I was raised by my single mother and grandmother, who passed away a year from one another in 2019 and 2020. I had the privilege to care for and be there for them both, which I see as a personal achievement. Then the light bulb went on, and I never returned to my previous job. Today, I help the seniors and disabled in my neighborhood and care for my two senior citizens, four four-legged family members, Boy a Jack Russell Bread, 16 years old, and Darla Carolina, 17.

I became a cna in 1997 and continued my desired position for 12 yrs ranging from convalescent homes to Lindsay and Sierra hospitals then my last employer was private in home that's where I realized I was my happiest, the friendship and bond you create is so much more then just helping someone out and going on your way, I bonded and made a friend along the way which was good for all parties involved. I have been a stay at home mom and wife for the past 2-3 yrs now since I lost my friend due to the battle but I am eager to help another in need and possibly make a new friend.

I am an outgoing person full of compassion and always willing to listen. Been working as a caregiver since 2005 and love what I do. I enjoy getting to know people and hearing stories of their lives. I am depednable and punctual and willing to go the extra mile.

I assist with Activities of Daily Living and Intermental Activities Daily Living, Bathing, grooming , toileting, feeding,meal prep, Transportation to Dr, errands, and most importantly companionship is always the first. I enjoy taking my clients out for activities and trips( no one can excel staying in a chair all day) Dr appointments, grocery shopping, puzzles, crafts and activities keep the mind sharp and on point. Hello, my name is Jerri, and i love to help people. I know that there are many people out there that need assistance with daily living needs. I completely understand the importance of just to be able to have help to shop, or go to a dr visit, or just have someone to talk with for even a few minutes. I know as a person gets older that simple little things like that are not easy to do. I feel really good about myself knowing I can be of help to someone unable to simple daily needs, so I will do the best I can to assist and make each day as comfortable as possible.

I have always been naturally caring. It was in 2010 when I felt the calling. 2011 I went to school to get my CNA license. I took care of my daughter who was undergoing treatment at the time. In 2013 I officially used my license at a local rehab facility. It was hard to leave my patients at the rehab facility who I had became close to and loved. 2015 I started to work at Sierra View where I floated to multiple departments. During that time I gain a better knowledge of how to take care and treat my patients. I and now looking to help a family in need to take care of their love one.
