Hello my name is Denna. I am a 39 year-old mother of three beautiful girls . My passion in life is taking care of others and doing anything I can to make a difference in someone else's life . The last couple years I, cared for My father who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer , unfortunately it was very aggressive and spread rapidly. After spending more time with my father I realized that although his body may not function, his mind was an ocean of stories and wisdom, waiting to be explored. It was such a beautiful experience and will forever cherish the time I had with him and the memories we shared. Taking care of my father and going through that experience have made me realize how passionate I am about helping others in their time of need. Treating patients with dignity, starts with helping them cope with their mental as well as their physical challenges. I have come to understand the signs that someone requires a further medical intervention, mental health support or simply someone to talk to as they are a little lonely. I am passionate about giving back to the older generations and being able to be apart of that journey in their life is such an amazing feeling and experience.

I am an experienced care giver and medication technician going on 10 years. I am fully covid vaccinated covid and flu. I do not smoke and not allergic to animals but I do not mind smoking. I have worked In memory care and with quads. So my experience ranges from completely independent to completely dependent care. I chose cargiving because it is what I am passionate about. Commuting is no problem.

I have always wanted to work in the medical field, and being a caregiver is a step toward what I want to do. I enjoy being a caregiver because of the people. It is amazing to hear stories of life people have lived and places they have gone. I have learned so much about life from doing this job, and look forward to learning more. A personal achievement I am proud of is my independence. I grew up sheltered, so it was hard for me to be independent, but I believe that I am starting to be more self-dependent.

My personality, I am a very compassionate person. When I do something, I do it with my whole entire heart. I became a caregiver because I want to make a difference in someone's life every single day. I enjoy being able to learn things from the past of my clients the most. Hearing about times that I was not alive. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I was a manager at a huge assisted living facility and we thrived.
