My personality is caring, observent, organized, and detail orientated. Which is a few, I love to make people laugh and talk positive about what a person can be better if they are willing to try. The reason that I have gone to school to take care of others which started with my grandmother getting very ill. I took care of her until she past away and continue the mission to make every day count that the person's life as well as mine. My expertise is working with mentally challenged, and physically. As a caregiver I can help out with a simple task as well as a difficult one. I do light housekeeping, cook, errands like grocery store and take to doctor's appointment. With all of my clients that needed 24 hour care and had several caregivers, I was the only one asked to stay on assignment when they no longer needed 24 hour care. Lastly, I had a client that was put in Hospice Care and was given 3 days to live. After 1 month of starting the assignment, my client graduated from Hospice, and his family is very happy.

I was caregiver for my dad for ten years he needed me to care for his daily needs. After his second brain surgery that he lost his long term memory. I couldn't mind since my dad cared for me when I was a baby to teen-years. So I couldn't turn my back on him. Plus as a nurse assistance it is my job to care for the client in their time of need.
