Hello, my name is Shameka Stringer. I am a current resident of Albany, Ga/Lee County. I just previously moved from Birmingham Alabama. My hometown resides in Arlington Ga. I am a mother of 5 kids, whom I love dearly! I have been working as a Patient Care Assistant for many years off and on, which I love. I started as a teenager with my grandmother who was disabled and blind. I was her in-home stay granddaughter for many years. I was trained through other nurses and doctors of how to care for her needs . Baths, medication administering, assisting with doctor visits, cooking and cleaning for her, basically I were her eyes of safe keep. When she was transferred over to the nursing home facility, I also became a volunteer companion sitter there to assist her along with other patients. I loved what i did for her as well as others without pay. It was enjoyment of being in the presence of the elderly and being able to help them when they couldn't help themselves. I love what I do, and that's helping others.

I have been working with the elderly for 13 years. I love working with the elderly, children, and pets. I have a passion for it. I'm 40 years old and have been doing it since I was 14 years old starting out assist my mother with my grandparents and haven't turned away since. I have a very high passion for it, and I enjoy every second of it.

I am honest, joyful person full of love, want to share helping those in need not limited to elderly person. I am always on time and put all my effort in doing my best. I am a certified nurse assistant for over 15 years and CPR/First Aid Trained. It will be an honor to be able to care for your loved one.

I became a caregiver because it is always something i wanted to do. i have the passion and attitude for this field. i like being a CNA because i know i can make a difference. i get a thrill out of making sure people are cared for the right way. i go the extra mile. i clock out and stay a few minutes. i like to get to know my clients and how they feel about things. i like to listen to the stories some have. I am proud of making a difference, seeing them happy, smiling, and i have learned a various of things even down to the shots. i wouldn't have a problem with being a RN at all. I like to learn various things to help my experience. i tend to have a passionate heart. I pray and talk to those who are christians. I like reading, computers, experimenting and staying busy. I have always wanted to be a nurse and work in the health care fields.

I am a Simple girl who loves to care for people. I took care of my mother the last 6 years of her life til her time came to and end. I'm very hard working and love to care for people. I'm very outgoing and very reliable.

I have over 10 years of Health and Wellness care pertaining to the the Geriatric community. My experience includes working with Dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I know how important it is to have someone there to make sure they attend their doctor appointments, understand the information from the doctor, and to be able to ask questions if needed. What I've enjoy the most about being a Caregiver is the friendship that my patient and I develops over a period of time. One of the many things, I've learned being a Companion Caregiver is you must treat the person you are taking care of like family along with dignity and respect to be able to provide exceptional care. I have been a caregiver for over four years with family, another four years with kids of my own and nieces and nephews. Furthermore, I have been an caregiver in the health care facility for two years. I have a humorous personality, but not more then an loving, giving, and caring heart for others. My passion for caregiving started when I was in middle school picking out my future job career, which is becoming a pediatric nurse. It has always been my set passion career goal and I am still pursuing and working towards its completion. Being able to care for others helps me and others in life of becoming a better person and realizing how to enjoy life while we can. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I have been in college for 5 years on and off but still have not given up on completing my goal of becoming an RN/Pediatric Nurse.

When I became the CEO & FOUNDER of my own Private Homecare buisness it truly made me proud because I don't want to be like others or better then them but different.

The reason I decided to become a CNA is because I enjoy helping others. It started with me taking care of my grandmother and mom. Once they past I decided I can help others and bring some joy into their lives. I have worked with the elderly, youth, and middle age from Alzheimer to the mental disabled. Helping others bring a sense of joy to me and makes my life complete.
