I am a mother of two boys and also have my niece and her 1 yr old daughter living with us. I have 4 years experience as a CNA and 2 years experience as a home health aide. I am looking for part time work assisting in the care of your loved one.

I love helping others! Since I was young I dreamed of being in the medical field! Fast forward and I've been in the medical field for 7 years! Caregiving since highschool so about 10 years! It brings me great joy making a difference in my patients lives!

My role as a caregiver initially started when I was 17. My Grandmother broke her hip and I lived with her to help her live independently in her own home again. This was not a paid position but one out of love and respect for my grandmother. 13 years later she was my Maid of honor, danced down the aisle at my wedding, at the age of 87. I've always enjoyed working with people in various stages of their lives. About 4 years ago, I became very ill and after 3 hospitalizations, I was transferred to a nursing home for a month. I had to learn to walk again. That experience reminded me of seeing various emotions of my grandmother when I was 17. However, this time it was me that was in her shoes, except I was at the mercy of strangers. I now understood the roller coaster of emotions that my grandmother verbalized. I made many friends in my stay at the nursing home. It was actually very sad when I left. My friends I made there wanted me to stay and work there....both clients and staff. That was when I decided to become a caregiver to help others continue to live independently in their own homes. I love what I do. I know my clients enjoy my presence in their lives. And that feeling has no price tag.

I am a very loving and people person . I decided to become a caregiver when I started working at a care center in Hiawatha Iowa as a Dietary Aide . I decided that I wanted to work with the residents instead of serving them . I found a job shortly as being a resident aide at Mayvil assistive living , I didn't have to be certified. I then began to wonder what was the difference in being certified or not ... I started to look into classes to become a certified nurse assistant, I was determined to get my certification. So I took off a month of work to go to school . Believer it or not I loved it , when I finnished school I got at westridge care center , I loved my residents but I decided to return home to my hometown. I would like to get into some home health care ! I enjoy waking up everyday and being the first person my resident interacts with for the day , I smile definitely starts the day off . I also love to be able to tuck my residents in at night !

My name is Holly Vaughn, I am a young single mother of a beautiful baby girl, I am extremely out going and have a passion for helping others. I started looking into care giving when a close family friend fell sick and needed help with everyday activities. I am very patient and compassionate which helps me be an great caregiver. I enjoy being a caregiver because I like knowing I can be their for someone in their times of trouble and put a smile on their face even when they are having a rough day.

I was very close to my grandmother and when she passed away i decided id love to work ith elderley peole and help them. I find it very rewarding to be a caregiver and get to kno all the amazing people i meet. I am told i am definitely in the right field of work i do this job very well. I am very easy going sweet compassionate and love working with and meeting new people

I'm a very outgoing person that loves to talk to others about anything and everything. I enjoy taking care of others and doing my best in making them as comfortable as possible and feel cared for. I like being a caregiver because I love getting to know other people and being able to make their lives a little bit easier. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is how many times my patients/residents tell me how caring I truly am. These people see so many faces and know how cares about their jobs versus who don't, and to be remembered and appreciated is the most rewarding thing to me.

What makes me great caregiver is my patients, empathy and compassion. I understand that slowing down is a process of aging. Allow elderly to move at their own pace without making them feel like they are being rushed provides them with the sense of independence. I do care about their concerns and frustrations due to their life changes. I am dependable and I understand the importance of being on time and prepared to preform schedule duties. I am positive and happy person who enjoys helping others and love to make others smile! :)
