1. Why did you become a caregiver? I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. 2. What do you like about being a caregiver? I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients’ lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. 3. what is a personal achievement you are proud? A personal achievement that I am proud of is caring for a client who didn't have any family and couldn't care for herself and becoming a big part of her life. 4. Tell us something about yourself? I am a very hard-working young woman I love being a certified nurses assistant. I love to helping people who aren't able to help themselves as if they would like to. I am very honest, passionate and loving.

Been a CNA for 14 years. Ive worked in a few nursing homes. My father has Parkinson's disease and being a cna as long as I have. U learn to deal with all sorts of disability. I'm plan on furthering my education and become a registered nurse.

I became a caregiver to help provide care to those in need. I enjoy getting to know the individuals and their families.

I grew up with a huge family, my mother was a Foster care provider, my dad was a Chief Fireman, I am the youngest of 8children, I grew up watching my mom take care of handicapped children my entire life, I always loved seeing how happy it made her to be able to help someone, even if it were just by giving that child love, I've grown to follow her footsteps and I just love being able to help someone if I can, even if can't make them better health wise, I can help them feel better emotionally, everyone deserves the BEST CARE POSSIBLE, that's why I love doing this job! I'm experienced in all aspects of Nursing, I've done pretty much everything expected, I am Certified in Nursing, I'm in school for Phlebotomy, I worked 15yrs in Dementia Care, as well as Alzheimers. I'm very fun to be around and love the new experiences with each client.

I prefer working with people one on one and feel it's the best way to get to know someone, and give care. My favorite people to work with are those with schizophrenia and dementia/Alzheimer's. I've always wanted to be a caregiver in some way. My grandmother was a nurse, and we spent a lot of time together helping others in various ways. She taught me how to give care, and to help others when they need it. I saw what she did, and how it affected other people, and wanted to give that to others myself. I enjoy helping other people.

A caregiver isn't a job for just anyone. You have to have special characteristics to provide excellent care, I am honest, trustworthy, friendly, punctual, caring, good listener, patient and selfless. My happiness comes from helping others. As I grew up I took care of myself, as a teen I moved in with my grandparents so I could take care of them ever since then it's always been my dream to help others. Also I have worked in nursing homes and it broke my heart to see how residents are cared for. People seem happier in their own homes so if there is something I can do to help them stay in their home I will do it. Through the years I've had several clients, I have never had a client that has not liked me. I am proud to say that I have brought happiness to other people's lives and provided the best care that I could.

Hello, my name is Haley Green I am 25 years young. I have been a certified CNA since 2009. I started working with geriatrics when I was 15 working as an activity aide. I enjoyed it so much and wanted to be able to do more for the residents that I ended up taking college classes my junior year of high school. The redbirds won the state while we were cheering our first year ever. I am a very upbeat outgoing person who believes that it is the patients choice and decisions. I do not force anything although I will highly encourage. I have a lot of patients and take my time. I enjoy seeing people smile and enjoy life and if I can help out at all by at least helping them have a few good days, well then it seems my job is being done correctly. I enjoy getting to know my patients the most and hearing about their lives and what they have went through. It is a very difficult job at times, however, I hold close to my heart all the people that I have lost. I am a proud CNA and would love to help your loved ones stay in the comfort of their own home.

Hi, I am 58 years old and I'm a caring compassionate, good hearted person who enjoys helping people out with their daily needs young or old. I really enjoy what I do and meeting people. My parents raised me to be a good christian person and to help people out no matter what they needed or didn't need such as raking their yard, shoveling snow, going to the grocery store, for them, mowing their yard etc.....and my parents said never ask for money for your good nature and kindness because you are doing it all from the heart. They taught me well and I appreciate them for it.

I have been a caregiver for a little over two years now and have learned a lot. I have had experience in a nursing home, a hospital, and a group home. When I first started out I was very unsure about my job. I knew that I wanted to help people in need but didn't know if this was going to be the job for me. The longer I am in the medical field the more I love my job. I put 100% into my job and take care of my clients/residents. I am loyal, trustworthy, and very dependable. I have been raised to always treat others like you would want to be treated, respect everyone, and be kind. I remember while I was working in the nursing home I loved talking with the residents, they had a lot of cool fun stories of their lives. In all I am very compassionate about my job. At the end of the day it puts a smile on my face knowing I have made someone smile today.
