I have always wanted to help people with mental and physical needs and how rewarding it is to help them. I love helping them and growing a bond with them. I am proud that I achieved my cna so that I am able to help all of the people out with what they need. I am a good person I get along with just about everyone.

I have been in the healthcare field for the past 20years which 16 years I have practicedas a Licensed Practical Nurse. I graduated as a member of the national technical honor society and top of my class. Long term care, skilled nursing units and behavior units aren't general areas of practice. I enjoy building a professional/personal relationship with my patients and the families to be able to give them the best care possible. I am a single mother of two very talented daughter's and my first grand daughter all of which are my proudest achievement.

I became a caregiver because I love the one on one time that you get to spend with individuals. Also the friendship that you build with each client is wonderful in itself. I want to give families comfort in knowing that their loved one is being taken care in a kind and moving manner as I would want my grandma to be. I like to not just care for, but also take time to converse and get to know them in a personal friendship and trusting way. What I like most really is the friendship built with each person and the interest we take in each other to the point that we hurt when they are. Getting to know them and their families along the way. A personal achievement is I have ladies I take care of in their homes and each one knows that if they need me outside the time allotted for their care, if they call I will do what I can to help with their concerns. I love the feeling that they know they can trust me. I am 39 years old and a mother of six. I was homeschooling along with my mom. I had to go to work full time and this is what I love to do if I have to be away from my children. I spend generally most of my time with them. We love to bowl and go to movies when time allows. I like being outside, and one day I will finish college in which I want to be a juvenile detention officer. Time will tell, until that time this is what I love to do.
