I have been doing Home Health Care for 20+ years. I have taken care of a wide variety of clients right down to family. I feel that since I was taken care of by the state as a child, my way of giving back is to take care of my loved ones. I enjoy seeing the smile on my client's faces when I walk through their door. I am currently going to school as Occupational Therapy Assistant and am looking forward to applying it to great use with clients in the future.

I genuinely love people, I don't care about the color of your skin, I just see people. I nursed my mom back to health after she had her leg amputated from complications of Diabetes, I helped her get her life back by working with her every day until she got strong enough to use her prosthetic leg on her own, now I cannot slow her down.

At the age of sixteen I helped a family friend looking after there mother whom had alzheimer's. During that time I found what I was compassionate about and what I wanted to do for a living. I love being a caregiver I love help other's in need. To able to care for someone in need and I know they are getting the best care in my hands makes my day to see a smile on my patients face's of a sigh of thanks. Going back to school and get my Associate Degree. I am a 33 year old woman I have been a caregiver for 17 years now this is my true passion I've walked away from this duty but my heart has brought me back the way i looked at it's not about when we get old at any giving time something can happen to you and if you ever have to depend on someone to care for you don't you want some to care for you with compassion patients understand open mind and a up lifting spirit.
