I am attracted to caregiving jobs because I love to care for people and I feel satisfied taking care Of people who can not do them for themselves. I took care of my sick mother until she passed away. Later, a friend introduced me to the field of caregiving. Though I had formerly been a school teacher, caregiving fit like a glove. A client once asked me why I chose this profession, and I told her that I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. I offer personal care, housekeeping services, and companionship. When my client was dying, I held her hand the entire time, not knowing that the daughter had entered the room and observed my action. After her death I received a note from the daughter describing how she had been touched by my action. As a former teacher, I am punctual, compassionate, empathetic, and sentimental; I laugh and cry with my clients. My current job involves caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. I have recently been providing a client with personal hygiene in the morning through CareLinx.

I am a hardworking person . I provide the best care my client needs . I have more than ten years of experience working as a CNA, CMT at home care , hospitals, assisted living and rehab facility . I have referrals if needed.

I decided to become a caregiver about 12 years ago while caring for my 86 year old father. He had several medical issuses some include... COPD, seizures, stoke dementia etc. After his passing i realize how important it was to able to care for those who are unable to care for themselves. I also realize we may all be face with the need of someone to assist us with ADLs, errands and so forth one day. It brings me joy knowing I've helped someone continue to enjoy a quality life despite their limitation. I currently hold a CNA certification I'm a easy-going, compassionate, funloving a little quite at times self motivated and a serious minded female. My passion is to help others make the most out of their life.

I became a caregiver because I love to help others. I like the fact that I can always be there for someone else in time of need. My biggest accomplishment was finishing school for medical assisting I know that I had to take care of my family and have responsibilities so I did what I had to.
