Aging parents have caused me to reevaluate the need for flexibility and the availability to now also provide care for them. This means the typical nursing block schedule is no longer a good fit for my families needs. I will continue to provide compassionate care for others but it will look different than it has in the past.

I became a caregiver after losing my mom young to a rare lung disease. I have always loved caring for people before I became a nurse.
