I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. I am a great companion on my one -one cases because I love to be fulfilled at work too.

I have a long line of care takers in my family so it's always been my passion to help people live their lives to the fullest. It brings me joy to watch the worry fall off their shoulders the minute I walk through the door. Every one of my clients are treated as if they were my own family. I am most proud of my ability to have patients. I have been pushed to my limit several times but I can always remain calm and talk my way through those crisis. I make friends easily but yet manage to stay professional in my work places. I'm a very relaxed and approachable person, I feel that's very important in my field.

I am happiest and most fulfilled while caring for others. I fell in love with nursing in 1978 when I started my first job as a Nursing Assistant. I found that I was not only doing a job, I was caring for a person with an extensive life history that I could learn from. People who had family who loved them but were no longer able to care for them. I went on to get my LPN in 1986 and finally RN in 2012. I have provided care in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers, private care in homes, Home Care through agencies and have cared for my patients and their families with integrity and compassion. Aging parents have caused me to reevaluate the need for flexibility and the availability to now also provide care for them. This means the typical nursing block schedule is no longer a good fit for my families needs. I will continue to provide compassionate care for others but it will look different than it has in the past.

I am a very down to earth, kind hearted person. I have always loved taking care of people, whether it be babies/kids or the elderly. I love being able to help people and it is very rewarding being a caregiver. Giving them companionship is so rewarding, especially if they don't have family/friends nearby.

1. I'm a Certified nursing assistant( CNA and also a certified medication aid (TMA) starting as a RA than CNA and now a Trained medications aid. Have a excellent experience in this field for 14 years. 2. I always wanted to be a RN . 3. Helping people achieve their daily goals, Seeing residents happy that they have achieve their meaningful goals on a daily basis makes me happy that I could be a part of their dreams come true. 4. Making sure residents or clients are well taken care of and meeting their daily goals.

I love working with elderly and help them and make sure they get to there doctor appointments grocery shopping and remind them to take there medications and help them prep food for them and help them with some chores around the house and make sure they have clean clothes and i enjoy helping elderly people out i helped my grandmother for 15 years of my life

I am a current student at Metropolitan State University where I am doing my bachelor in Human Service with the commitment to helping others in the health care industry.

I know this sounds lame, but I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. I love the rewarding feeling I get from giving. Now, when I was a kid that was another story. I carried all of my toys in a brown grocery bag and you would have to fight me to get me to share! I love listening and learning from others. I feel that this has only improved my caregiving skills. I have worked with all ages, races, religions, disabilities and I treat each person the same. We all deserve dignity and respect regardless of our situation. I'm kind, but love to laugh and have a good time. Most importantly I know how to act appropriate for the situation. I believe an achievement that I can truly be proud of everyday is that I have the ability to take life as it comes and always put things into perspective. I hold my family close to my heart. I can provide a reciprocal relationship of professional care and companionship.
