What makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I have a big heart. I am willing to help others and care for them. Not only am I doing my job, but I create a bond with my clients, it is more than just a job. Being there to comfort them and hands-on when needed. What attracted me to being a caregiver is growing up I watched my grandfather need the help. I enjoyed being there for him to the point where he felt comfortable enough to be in the state he was in. The most exciting part of being a caregiver is creating that bond with my clients to the point where they want me to come back. I became a caregiver before I was 18 when my grandfather was diagnosed with colon cancer. I care for him until his death. After High School my first job was as a nurse aide because I knew then that I wanted to help people not by administering medication but by letting them know that someone was there for them and I will help in any way I could. I now have a small Home Care Agency (CORRI CARES HOMECARE) in which I go to the home to take care of elderly or disabled individuals who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes. I have worked in many areas such as long-term care, Hospitals, memory units, rehabilitation, emergency room and home health. I don't just provide services, I build relationships with my clients.

I have always enjoyed helping people. It is always very satisfying when people Express their appreciation for all that you do and and for all that you try to do for them. Being of service to others is truly fulfilling.
