I've been an LPTA for 17 years and absolutely love my patients! Geriatric patients are my favorite! However, I have grown tired of fighting with Medicare and have chosen to focus on caregiving rather than my previous career in therapy so that i can completelyfocus all my attention on my patient. My patients have always been my focus and my heart.

I have been a RN for 34 Yrs, I lost my job from NMMC in Oct. I enjoy working nights. I have been working on the rehab floor. Would like to find a 12 hr. shift job. Caring for others is what makes me whole and gives me great self satisfaction. I am divorced and am available prn. I prefer not to work days. I have been on evenings/nights for a long time. I have wanted to be a nurse as long as I can remember.

Hello my name is Mayra Vallejo. I became a CNA because working for somebody that needs love and attention satisfies my soul. After my first job as a caregiver to my father-in-law, I knew this was the work I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I'm a very patient person I have intuition towards peoples needs and wants. Being compassionate towards others is always my first priority. I do not have a ton of experience that I wish I had but the little that I have pushes me to keep doing what my heart desires and that is caring for others. AT 7 yrs old watch my mommy give my dieing aunt a bedbath she was so good.Until this day all family member are take care of at home.Iwork at a hospital 8yrs, Work at a personal care home 10yrs.CPR CARD EVEN TODAY, UNDERSTAND THE NEED TO KEEP A MOTHER OR FATHER AT HOME. I love what I do because on most days when they can't do for theirselves that's where I take place and help them with what they need done! I took care of my grandmother years when my parents got sick it was just in me to take care of other people and make them happy and comfortable when i can! I will do what I can! I try my best to go above and beyond for my patients their my #1 priority! Even when I'm off the clock if they have a question they can always call. I want them to know that I will always be there for them as long as they let me. I am very compassionate, caring, loving, and honest person.
