My name is Connie and my mother's name was Carol. I took care of her until her early death at 53 for 10 years. She had MS. After being in the veterinary field for 20 years, I've gained a level of comfortability with all things clinical and medical. I adore the elderly and have experience with Alzheimer patients and those with dementia. I think I would make a great addition to your family's health care plan and can really make a difference in your loved ones daily life. I'm a happy person and try to bring that to my clients everyday.

I've been an LNA for four years now and I am working towards getting my RN at Great Bay as well. I have a five year old daughter and I am looking for first or third shift during the week so I can still see her when she gets out of school. On the weekends, I am able to work anytime

I have been a caregiver for nearly 30 years: I always arrive to work with a positive and upbeat attitude. I love working with the elderly. There is so much to learn from their many years on this earth. I treat all my clients as I would want my own elderly parents to be treated.

I first started caregiving when I was 17. My first job was for glorias helping hands. At first i wasnt sure about how i felt about the type of work. I didnt have much experience as to what i was doing. I took some classes and got my rcs1 and crma first. Rcs1 is a residential care specialist and a CRMA is a certified residential medical assistant. As i learned more and worked more I realized that is was my passion to help others who may need some assistance in things they can no longer do. Honestly u really do have to have a passion for this type of work because u never know what could happen or what situation u may end up in. And some of the disabilities, and some health issues can be challenging. Ive been very lucky to continue and have worked and learned various disabilities, as well as illnesses. Today i have my rcs1, pss,cna, and also insulin certified, cpr certified, and first aid certified. I love knowing that I'm making a difference and im helping and am there for someone who needs some support and help in their life.

I am deeply committed to treating all of my clients and families with dignity and respect. My goal is to win the trust , and help alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, or other personal care. I strive to make a difference in the lives of my clients. I am very out going, friendly, honest , and dependable.

I work full time at a hospital but I am searching for a more 1:1, personable position. I knew I was meant to be a nurse since I was a young girl learning about Florence Nightingale. My mother is a nurse also and has inspired me and been my support throughout my schooling and career. I enjoy taking care of people and building a relationship with them as well as seeing them heal. I see the bigger picture, meaning taking care of the whole person (physically, emotionally, spiritually). I use my skills and knowledge to tailor to each person individually.

I would be a great caregiver because I am empathetic, patient and great at getting a long with all people of all ages. I am attracted to being a caregiver as I am hoping to feel fulfillment in helping others. I would enjoy the fact that I am helping another person who is in need of my assistance. My personal achievement I am most proud of is that I am a mother of a intelligent, loving, kind 9 year-old son. I have a hard-working, supportive, loving husband of 12 years, who I have supported to get to where he is as a full-time Dental Assistant. I have worked with children in the school district, and I have my ALT4 for teaching HEALTH and Family & Consumer Science (passed the teaching praxis flying colors!! 99% on my Math!). I love my family. I love my two cats. I love art & music. I honestly love helping others (I used to manage the Clinique Counter in Concord for 3 years, I am not into sales and I left it to teach for a bit and spend time with my family- retail hours are horrible, I miss my clients most of all- helping them see the beauty in themselves as well as helping enhance it by playing with skincare and makeup. I also was honored by ELLE magazine in 2012 for my contribution to the beauty industry and was called "Concord's Confidence Maker" as it went on to explain how much I care for my clients and they appreciate me- this was something written by my Clinique Manager, I did not even know I was nominated until I read it!) I love education and helping others. I also volunteer at the Capitol Center of the Arts so I enjoy volunteering my time for the arts and working with my retired, older friends.

I have always been a caregiver, established with a lifetime of nursing experience. I have been a geriatric nurse until I retired in 2003 and since then I have had several home care positions which I especially enjoyed doing. I like the accomplishment of making a persons life better because of what I have been able to do for them. I am an artist, poet (member of the Poetry Society of NH) read often with other poets, do crafts and work a loom. life is never dull. This time of the year I work my gardens and enjoy kayaking and fishing. Life is good.

I became a caregiver because I love spending time with others and love helping others out. I would like to say the one thing I like most would knowing I helped and made someone's day. I would say my biggest achievement would be learning a lot in the hospital working here for seven years. I am a mother of two children who are eight and four. I have been and aide in both long term and hospital setting for over nine years. I worked on the surgical floor with preoperatIve and postoperative. I would float to other floors to help out when they were short staffed. I am a receptionist at a orthopedic office for a most a year now.
