My name is Onye but everyone calls me Red because nobody can usually pronounce it. I love helping people in need and mainly love caregiving because I'm able to help people who really need assistance and hopefully make them feel better and feel that they are not alone and that they mean something and people care about their wellbeing. I have a great amount of experience in being a caregiver I actually started very young. At the age of 8 I started being my mom's assistant caring for people and my first patient was my grandmother I cared for her for many years as she became more sick my responsibility grew I was responsible for bathing, cleaning, laundry, hygiene and more but the part I loved the most was the good talks that we had I was able to make her feel alright and happy and not alone until the day she passed. I would love to continue to do those things for people around the world if I am given the opportunity it makes me so happy and makes me feel like a good person. I love to smile and talk and laugh but most importantly uplift the people around me and hopefully I can continue to do that over the years

My name is Lauren and I am 25 years old. I began my caregiving career in 2015 as a Certified Nursing Assistant working for an in-home agency in South Carolina. I'm a very caring person that wants to make a difference, big or small. I spent years taking care of my elderly grandparents while my grandfather was terminally ill and while my grandmother was going through mourning at his loss. Even though I no longer live with her, I check in on her regularly and make sure someone is there to help her when she needs it. The best part of being a caregiver is being able to help someone when they need it most. That can make even the smallest difference in someone's life, just being someone willing to help. Honestly, my proudest achievements come from elsewhere. I gained a second degree black belt when I was young, and I graduated top five of my class from my first college.
