Hello & I hope you're doing well. My name is Mare & I was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. My interest in care giving began in 1982 when I gave birth to my daughter. Tiffany was born @ CMC w/ no right kidney & only a piece of a left kidney. That's when my caregiving actually began, however I had always wanted to be a nurse. Tiffany had several episodes of heart failure, as well as many seizures. I took the opportunity to learn as much as possible in order to help her in every way I could. Tiffany and I were referred to The Children's Hospital of Alabama where I was taught how to perform peritoneal dialysis. I treated her with paritoneal dialysis in my home for approximately one year. At that time, doctors decided she had to have a transplant. At 18 months, Tiffany was given one of my kidneys. She was put on a great deal of medications and there was a lot of care given to her over her lifespan of 28 years. After Tiffany's passing, I followed my interest in caregiving by working at a hospital as well as an assisted living company. I am a very friendly, patient & caring person who has been taught how to deescalate issues if they arise. Hello! I'm a kind hearted, loving person who never meets a stranger. I treat my patients and clients like they are my family. I wanted to become a caregiver since I was a little girl and experienced my grandpa going through cancer and his caregivers were wonderful! I wanted to be able to provide that kind of care to others!

I kinda always was a caregiver and didn't know it. Both of my parents worked and I was much older than my step brother and sister, so I did all the house work and taking care of them from an early age. I also grew up with my aunt who was a spastic quadriplegic, so I learned how to do a lot there. I have had many patients, most were the ones everyone else had bad trouble with. I'm kinda the guy, that I can handle pretty much anything from full Dementia, to full quadriplegic. I have my state license in CNA, ACNA, and Phlebotomy. I have excellent experience and very good references. The last question that I am proud of is: My mother was passing in the hospital and couldn't have her placed in a home. So I brought her home with me and kept her alive for another month before she passed away with me. At the end she had full blown dementia, it was quite an ordeal to go through. So with that experience it has taught me a lot of what other families could be going through.

Im sierra! Im 23 years old and currently working my way towards nursing school. I have 10 years experience of babysitting and 6 years experience of elderly care sitting. I have been responsible for companionship, feeding, bathing, meals and medications. I am CPR and basic health certified. I have completed CNA and Phlebotomy certification classes as well.

I became a caregiver because I have a willingness to help and care for others. The opportunity was offered to me when I was very young caring for a family friend and ever since I have enjoyed the work and the sense of purpose it gives me. I feel I'm a great caregiver because I'm understanding, patient, I'm a good listener and I feel empathy with others.

Ive been a caregiver on and off since I was 17 years old and I love doing it im also really good at it. Im comfortable in alot of diffrent situations im also a great cook :)

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to check my post out. Being a caregiver is a joy. It's a pleasure and an honor to be considered trustworthy in someone's home. I've worked in a variety of homes with many different factors. I have experience in Alzheimer's, dementia, stroke, care for a person who's a paraplegic, GI disorders, hospice, nursing care, care for the blind, and others. This career requires lots of compassion. I am patient, empathetic, firm when needed but kind. My goal is to help you or your loved ones live their best life possible.

What makes me a great care giver is my personality, i love to laugh with people, i love to have long talks, I am a great listener and I think of my residents as my new best friends, ill talk about life with them and let them share their experiences with me. My goal with care giving is to be as helpful and humble as possible and help you and you're family in the ways i can.

I pride myself on being a great caregiver, I love tending to people and their needs. Especially ones who are unable to do for themselves. I am very alert and aware of my patients body language, i listen to them when they tell me something and try to understand why they feel that way. I work really hard to my best caring for patients, one reason being I love what I do and the second is I would want someone to do the same for my parents or grand parents. I enjoy the peace it brings the patient and myself the most within my job. There is no feeling like knowing you have made a positive impact in someones life or helped make their life easier in anyway possible. Just the reward of that is enough for me.

I have been a CNA for 5 years and I have certificate in CPR and First Aid with Infants, Child, and Adults. I love meeting new people and being able to help others. I wanted to be a caregiver because I wanna be a comfort to my clients and help out as much as possible.
