I care about people and I treat people the way I would like to be treated...I decided to become a caregiver after my grandmother on my mom mother pass I didn't like the way she was treated in the hospital alot of the nurses was uncaring....helping people and to let them know that there is someone that does care ...is seeing a smile on my patient face and knowing that I have done my best to make them happy.....

My name is Heather Stewart. I'm 31 years old. I am a married mother of four. 16,11,9,7. I am also a caregiver for my mother, have been for 7 years now. She has Copd/Empyhasema. I know how to do oxygen portables and concentrateors,bi-paps, and nebulizers. I live in Lynchburg Tennessee. I did some time in the Army National Guard. I love and am very passionate about being a caregiver. I have worked in both in home health and facility. I love knowing that at the end of everyday I made a difference in these clients lives. I never knew my grandparents so it's like having another chance.

I've always loved being around people and trying to bring a smile to their face. I enjoy working with older people because to me they've got some of the greatest wisdom, amazing personalities and are the full of history better than history books. I have personal knowledge in working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients. I have taken care of cardiac patients ranging from A-fib ,congestive heart failure to quadruple bypass. I I enjoy and keeping their bodies moving with a little bit of exercise fit for their situation. I have a certification in CPR an associate's degree in science and have been certified as a CNA 20 years ago as well as went through a medical assistant program in 2005. I am the mother of two high-spirited an amazing young men ages 23 and 20. My from his son moved out 2 months ago. So I would like to do more to fulfill my life and doing for others and helping others gives me that for filament and joy. I plan to be moving to Mobile the end of March.

I am a great caregiver because I first learned how to be one by helping my parents and my brother. They had certain disabilities, both physical and mental/psychological, that touched my heart and helped me realize the importance of quality of life to everyone, not just to those who are healthy. Then, I achieved 89 credits towards my BSN (bachelors degree in nursing) and graduated with honors in Surgical Technolgy from Tennessee Technology Center, First Aid at MTSU, and am a licensed CNA and am CPR/BLS certified, and have a Leadership Award from St. Thomas Hospital. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA/PCA and am looking to work part-time to possibly full-time for someone who has the need for home health and/or caregiver needs. I have excellent references and take my work seriously!

I have worked as an L.P.N. nurse for 22+ years. I love the elderly. I have over 40 hours of continuing education in Alzheimer's/dementia training. I am looking for a different channel to use my skills instead of Nursing Homes or hospitals.

I luv old people and kids.i luv caring for old people because they are like kids they cant take care of theirselves. I have achieved getting my cna license and i am quiet proud of it. I am a mother of two.I am engaged to be married this April. I have the sweetest kids.I am a very happy person..I am a people person thats what makes me good at what i do. Truely blessed

In my past I have had many jobs in the industrial field and realized that through performing routine tasks there is a larger scale product involved. Each task must be done with quality in order to serve the company as a whole. All of the parts come together in order to make a whole. I see this when I serve a patient as well. Even though I may just be a tech, I realize that my job is just as important as everyone on the nursing team. If I don’t perform efficiently or diligently it effects not only my patients, but the team as a whole suffers. During my CNA classes I learned that providing quality care was a vital part of improving and maintaining optimal health. I have had some private care jobs where I worked as a unlicensed tech and during my time doing this I realized the joy I can bring to others as well as the joy it gives me to serve those whom have provided a path for me to embrace my goals.
