I've been caring for elderly for about 15 years. Started with my grandma and having her tell me thank you so much and being appreciative of the small things I would do to make her smile did it for me. I have worked with the elderly for a great number years. I have worked in differant nursing facilities as well as odyssey hospice, and home health care. I enjoy my time working as I have learned alot from just talking with differant people. Working with the elderly is a very rewarding job. Its not just about a pay check with me its about the quality of care I provide and the companionship.

I started off in a nursing home in the kitchen, went to work at a group home for developmentally challenged individuals, then I moved to a memory care unit while I resided in Florida, and now I work in emergency services as a dispatcher. I love helping others the young and the elder. I try to keep a happy go lucky spirit about me at all times. I was raised by grandparents and at early age I had to learn how to care from them. Later first job as a caretaker was at nursing home was a great experience of helping dressing, grooming, feeding, and just showing love and that I care. As years went by, I received Certified nurse aide license and other experience to further my career in healthcare.
