What attracted me to this field as a young girl I was raised by my grandparents and my grandfather had a major stroke and he had to learn everything all over and @ the age of 12 I told him we would get threw this so I told my grandmother to schedule every therapy after school in which she did so everything they did I wrote down and practice with him the days and weekends they did not come and also speech therapy so this what got me into care giving. My name is Katy! A little about me I took care of my father when he was alive he was bed ridden due to amputation, diabetes and kidney disease. I started this professional career in 2009 after my dad had a stroke and of course I wanted to step in and take care of him. I realized after he passed away that this was my calling. I am caring, compassionate, confident and exude enthusiasm as well as personality plus!! I'm an excellent caregiver because I love what I do and I strive to always be the best in whatever I'm doing. My greatest personal achievement's have been raising 2 beautiful daughters as a single mom. The other would be going back to school and achieving my CNA & Phlebotomist license.
