I love being able to help people and take care of them. My grandmother was my best friend but she recently passed away and since then Iv felt drawn to being a caregiver and helping others and just giving them someone to talk to. I have 2 beautiful children who are my life and I want a job I'm able to be on their schedule also. I recently finished medical assistant school which was a big accomplishment for me to go back to school at my age. Over all I'm a very happy, loving person who loves to see other smile.

What makes me a great caregiver , I love my clients as well as what I do I enjoy being able to help those who need more help than others or just even being a opening ear to talk to , I think what made me want to be in this Field is seeing my mother do it she has always been my inspiration, after I was old enough to try for myself I seen how people would treat the residents and I wasn't to happy about it , I've always said you treat people how you want to be treated or how you would want your parents treated or grandparents etc if they were in a situation of the sort . Working in this field has taught me that no matter your race your weight your height your religion, it's about your heart and how one feels about you as well as how you feel about what your doing and who your doing it for .

I enjoy helping people with there daily activities and needs. I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. I want them to feel better when I leave than when I came in. I really enjoy putting a smile on there faces.

CG for about 15 years. I help them with the groceries stores, making and preparing a bed, washing, doctor's appointment, feeding, light housekeeping, cooking, and some basic ADLs.

My personality traits, being attracted to being a caregiver, and why I enjoy being a cargiverfor are that I truely enjoy caring for clients in their own homes. I am a very fast learner, very organized, reliable, hard-working, have good transportation, and always strive to perform my very best at any job I do. My most most personal achievement as being a caregiver/RN in the home health care environment is the one time I felt I really helped a client out with her disability. I had a client a few years ago that had been unable to leave her home due to the fact that she didn't have a wheelchair ramp attached to her home. She was unable to go down her front steps for about 3 years due to her arthritis in her legs. Thru lots of research, I was finally able to find a traveling church group that would donate their time helping clients in need by building them home improvements to help them. I was able to get up with them to have them come to her home and build her a wheelchair ramp. I was so happy for her, that we both cried. That was one of my best days on the job!

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I also enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I have patience when it come to my patients. I maintain a confident attitude at all time. I am very supportive and trustworthy.

I think I'd be a great caregiver because I'm a God fearing man who loves to serve others as if I'm serving the Lord. I enjoy making others laugh, and feel safe and comfortable around me. I'm big on manners and respect. I'll sacrifice whatever to make my another person happy and as comfortable as possible. I'm a gentle person so this job attracted me since I know many elderly patients need that type of love and affection. What I enjoy most is the connection and the relationship bonding with a patient, as well as the conversation from the many stories they tell. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating college and getting my Master's degree.

I consider myself to be patient and I do not like to see the elderly mistreated. I try my best to make things easier for them.

I love helping others and helping them meet all their needs. My grandmother died of Alzheimer's so this is my way of giving back. I'm great with elderly. I'm always on time and always complete my tasks as needed.
