Since I was a very young girl when asked what I want to do I've always been able to respond in the same way: I want to help people. I've always been driven to grow and improve. I've tried many different jobs through out my life and have found the most satisfaction in caring for others. I enjoy helping others in any way I can. I'm a single mom of an 11 year old boy. I've been a CNA since 2001. I've gone to school at PCC, specializing in gerontology, end of life care, and dementia. I've worked in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in home. I knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 16, my grandfather moved in with us and we hired hospice to help us care for him. I was in awe of the help we recieved from these wonderful ladies. I worked in a hospital for 20 years. I started out in housekeeping then went to school to recieve my Certified Nurses Aide certificate for Washington state. I have worked in many aspects for the hospital from babies to hospice, emergency room to recovery. I choose to do in home health care when I moved to Vader. I enjoy in home caregiving because I get to meet very interesting clients and families. I enjoy the slower pace of caring for a client one on one.
