I started as a caregiver many years ago. I've always been an achiever and pretty much do anything I put my mind to. I've been in retail, management, business owner, but found my passion as a caregiver. I've taken care of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke patients, congested heart failure patients, etc. My client's become my family and love what I do as a private caregiver. Hello all! :) My name is Hope Larson, and I am 22 years old, born and raised in Weston, WI with a loving family of 6! A little fun fact to share... both of my parents are deaf, making our family fluent in American Sign Language. I have been a CNA with the same company for almost 6 years now, and absolutely love it! I primarily work on the dementia units, but also have experience working long-term Care, rehab, and the vent units. I am more than halfway done with nursing school, and am on track to receive my LPN license this month, upon passing my boards. I was actually providing in-home care for one of my nursing instructor's parents, whom happened to have progressing dementia, up until recently due to passing away. After this experience, I realized that I have a love for private care - being able to focus all of my time one patient and truly get to know their personality, their likes and dislikes, and learn their history and hear their stories without the time rush we have when in a facility. It truly makes a difference in a person's overall health when they're getting that uninterrupted holistic care. I have such a passion for caring for others and simply making people smile; life's just too short not to! Hi there. I have been doing care giving for over 8 years. Whatever task I am assigned to do, I always make sure I give it my 100%. What attracted me to do in home care giving was the thought of helping someone that needed it, and the variety that goes along with it. I absolutely love to house clean, and I would say that is my number 1 stand out job of mine, I have received many compliments about my house cleaning. Something I am very proud of. My personal achievement has been earning The Vision Award from a previous employer, which I have hanging on my wall. I have done Personal Care Work also for over 8 years, so all around, I have plenty of experience.
